From Fortune 20 boardrooms to the runways of international fashion weeks, Wanda J. Knight has redefined what reinvention looks like. Celebrated for her award-winning corporate career and now gaining attention for her style, presence, and influence, she sat down with us to discuss leadership, travel, Formula 1, and what it truly means to evolve.

Interviewer: Wanda, you built such a successful career in enterprise technology sales. What do you consider the highlight of those two decades?

Wanda J. Knight: The highlight wasn’t the awards, though I am proud of Salesperson of the Year and Sales Leader of the Year. What meant the most was being named Best People Leader by my colleagues. For me, leadership has never been about numbers—it’s about people. The lives you impact matter far more than any quarterly report.

Interviewer: After such recognition, many would be content. Yet you chose reinvention. What inspired you to step into fashion, lifestyle, and even Formula 1 circles?

Wanda J. Knight: Reinvention has no expiration date. I wanted to show that women—especially over 40—can explore new chapters without letting go of their past achievements. Fashion shows, lifestyle events, even Formula 1… these are places where creativity and confidence meet. It’s exciting to blend the structure of my corporate past with the fluidity of these new worlds.

Interviewer: You’ve been spotted at Forces of Fashion in New York, Vogue World in Paris, and Halifax Fashion Week. How would you describe your personal style?

Wanda J. Knight: Intentional. I gravitate toward designers like Victoria Beckham, Chanel, and Cynthia Rowley because their work feels timeless yet bold. For beauty, I admire innovators like Dr. Barbara Sturm and UBeauty. But style is less about the label and more about authenticity—how you wear it, how you show up.

Interviewer:Travel also seems to play a big role in your life. What have those experiences taught you?

Wanda J. Knight: With 38 countries stamped in my passport, travel has shaped me in countless ways. Paris taught me elegance, Cape Town gave me perspective, and every journey has instilled empathy and adaptability. Travel is a classroom that keeps reminding me leadership is about listening and understanding.

Interviewer:Let’s talk about Formula 1. You’re passionate about it. Why does it resonate so deeply with you?

Wanda J. Knight: I went to my first Grand Prix in Mexico City at 15, and it never left me. Formula 1 is leadership in motion—the pressure, the split-second decisions, and the courage to take calculated risks. It’s thrilling, but it also mirrors the way I approach business and life.

Interviewer:You continue to balance both your executive role and your digital influence. How do you see these two worlds coming together?

Wanda J. Knight: I don’t see them as separate. My corporate work taught me strategy; my creative work gives me freedom. Building a digital presence isn’t about vanity for me—it’s about impact. I want women to see reinvention as growth, not as a replacement of who they were.

Interviewer:Finally, what legacy do you want to leave behind?

Wanda J. Knight: Confidence, compassion, empowerment. I want to mentor, to partner with value-driven brands, and to create opportunities for women at any stage of life. Success evolves—it’s not about staying the same but about growing into the next version of yourself.

Closing Note

As Wanda leans back with a thoughtful smile, one thing is clear: her story isn’t about walking away from past success—it’s about carrying it forward, reshaping it, and inspiring others to do the same.

“Influence comes not just from what you achieve,” she says, “but from how you evolve.”
