Mrs. Sukhvinder Kaur was born in Goa and her father is an Indian Navy veteran. Naturally, patriotism runs deep in her veins and she strived to make her country proud just like her father did. She dreamt of representing her country in all leading beauty pageants around the world and has worked very hard to make this dream a reality!
Her story is very fascinating and inspiring. Despite having a successful career with a leading bank as a branch manager for more than 7 years, she was not content. She knew her real calling was to set the runway on fire, and represent the Indian women in front of the whole world. She was very much inspired by the story of Sushmita Sen; How a girl from a very humble background believed in herself and went on to become Miss Universe. She knew she had to take some tough decision and so she did! She left her successful banking career behind to pursue her real calling.
She started modelling in the year 2007. It would not have been possible for her to make these sacrifices and life altering choices without the support of her family, especially her husband. She earned the title of Top 20-Miss PTC Punjabi in year 2008 and Miss Kaur International in year 2009. These were her first big wins. After that, there was no looking back for Sukhvinder. In the year 2019, she earned two prestigious titles, viz. Mrs India Ravishing 2019 and Mrs India Popular 2019. She won the hearts of her fellow countrymen once again in year 2021 by winning the titles of Mrs. India Diva Queen 2021 and Mrs. India Overall Personality 2021.
She is a tremendous source of inspiration for girls and women all over the country and truly epitomizes the saying that, “If you can dream it, you can do it!”
